Prof BM Shanthala, MDS is Professor and Head, Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, Coorg. She has done BDS and MDS from ABMIDS, Mangalore, Mangalore University, 1992 and 1994, respectively. She has to her credit more than 50 research publications both in national and international journals of repute. Her research related activities are Animal studies on Dogs, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs, clinical trials, epidemiological studies and formulation of Pulpotomy Medicament ( Formocresol Gel).
